Application Context
Nearby Verona, in a traditional lowland town, stands a single-family residence with strongly modern and minimalist lines. The villa develops horizontally on a single floor with essential volumes of lines and right angles, typical of rationalist architecture. The aesthetics of the structure is given by the clean shapes, the ribbon windows (Carminati Serramenti), which pierce the facades allowing the maximum possible sunshine, and by the finishing materials used, reduced to the minimum and all of the same colour: a warm and elegant white. The load-bearing structure is entirely made of wood with X-LAM panels, external insulation in black cork, internal insulation in mineral wool with drywall infill panels, insulated roof with wood fibre. The house is a model of eco-friendly building, due to the presence of photovoltaic panels, floor panels for domestic hot water and the installation of a controlled mechanical ventilation system.
Client's Demand
The owners are very attentive to the environmental impact of the house, in fact, after the suggestion of the design studio (Studio Tecnico Bomer), they have chosen to equip the house also with a state-of-the-art home automation system for the management of the heating/cooling system, the regulation of lighting fixtures and the monitoring of electricity consumption.
Ekinex Solutions
Ekinex wall products have been chosen to perfectly blend into the minimal and elegant style of the residence. The owners' aesthetic-spatial ideal is completed with the Ekinex pushbuttons of the FF series NF line in ice white plastic and in white malè Fenix NTM. The frameless NF line blends completely with the walls in a refined and pure way, creating the illusion of a continuum with the space that surrounds it and, at the same time, allowing owners to obtain a personalization of their home down to the smallest detail.
