Lo Scudo of Stabio

Application Context

Surrounded by the unspoilt Swiss nature, Lo Scudo apartment complex rises amidst the vineyards of Stabio: a project that combines the attention to a refined and elegant design with the concept of environmental sustainability. The residential building was constructed to create a comfortable environment which gives the opportunity to breath the air of home and community. In its external part, it features a cork cladding with embedded photovoltaic panels to satisfy high levels of energetic efficience. In its internal part, the building guarantees an excellent life quality to its inhabitants.

Certifications

Thanks to its features, this is the first project in Tessin to get the Swiss Sustainable Building Standard (SNBS) and the Minergie certificate that attest the project quality, increasing its market value and giving the opportunity to access to direct and indirect incentives. These certifications, beyond evaluating the environmental principles, also take into account the social and economic aspects. The result is a perfect combination of values linked to ecological responsibility without sacrificing aesthetic beauty.

Ekinex Solutions

The attention to design that characterises the building's flats is fully realised through the choice of Ekinex wall products. Elegance and simplicity are the key concepts within the spaces designed to be both comfortable and refined. The black polymer (GAE) finish of the FF series switches, with their linearity, perfectly meet the requirements of every flat.
